more than a party

Our Story

Filthy Friday exploded onto the scene in 2017, riding the wave of the hostel culture boom in Central America and pulling in the international crowd to Bocas del Toro.

Ricky Martinez was slinging drinks behind the bar after years of traveling as a geopolitical journalist, while Fabio Acevedo had serious DJ experience under his belt. They both realized that Bocas del Toro was missing something—a party, but not just any party. Filthy Friday was born, an island party crawl like no other. They started promoting the party with flyers in the street, expecting only 50 guests.

Filthy Friday has become a cultural institution and the go-to spot for an epic party in Panama, known for its Caribbean vibes, safe operations, and a f*cking good time.
